REAR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SIDE NO. 3 AIR DUCT

      Remove the 2 screws and rear side No. 3 air duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR COOLING UNIT DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 rear cooling unit damper servo sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR COOLING UNIT DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 rear cooling unit damper servo sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

  5. REMOVE REAR BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 screws and rear blower with fan motor sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL

      Remove the 2 screws and blower motor control.

  7. REMOVE DRAIN COOLER HOSE

      Remove the drain cooler hose.

  8. REMOVE COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION PIPE C

      Remove the No. 1 cooling unit packing.

      Remove the piping clamp.

    3. A01IHOL

      Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose inlet C and heater water hose outlet C.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and cooler refrigerant suction pipe C together with the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe E.

    5. Remove the 2 O-rings from the refrigerant suction pipe C and cooler refrigerant liquid pipe E.

    6. Remove the No. 2 cooler packing.

      Remove the 3 screws and heater cover.

    8. Remove the piping clamp, and then remove the cooler refrigerant suction pipe C from the No. 1 cooler cover.

  9. REMOVE COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE E


    1. Remove the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe E from the No. 1 cooler cover.

  10. REMOVE HEATER WATER HOSE INLET C

      Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to remove the heater water hose inlet C.

  11. REMOVE HEATER WATER HOSE OUTLET C


    1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to remove the heater water hose outlet C.

  12. REMOVE HEATER WATER INLET PIPE C


    1. Remove the screw and heater clamp.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Detach the guide and remove the No. 2 cooler cover.

    4. Remove the heater water inlet pipe C from the No. 1 cooler cover.

  13. REMOVE HEATER WATER OUTLET PIPE C


    1. Remove the heater water outlet pipe C from the No. 1 cooler cover.

  14. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the radiator heater unit clamp.

      Remove the heater radiator unit sub-assembly from the rear cooling unit.

  15. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT EXPANSION VALVE

      Detach the claw and remove the plate.

    2. A01IF90

      Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and rear cooling unit expansion valve.

    3. Remove the grommet.

  16. REMOVE REAR EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 12 screws and rear cooling unit case LH.

      Remove the rear evaporator sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01IF46

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the rear evaporator sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY

      Detach the connector clamp.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly.

      Tech Tips

      If damaged during removal, replace the part with a new one.
