  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      *a Disconnection Range

      Disconnect the No. 1 slide door weatherstrip LH in the range shown in the illustration.

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction
      B006LKF Order of Removal

      Place your hand at the position indicated in the illustration and pull the front side of the rear quarter trim panel assembly LH in the removal direction to detach claw A.

    3. After placing your hand in the gap, pull the front of the rear quarter trim panel assembly LH towards the center of the vehicle to detach claw B, and then starting from the top, detach the clips in the order shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      The following procedures for disconnecting the connector must be performed with 2 people.

    4. Have one person pull the front side of the rear quarter trim panel assembly LJ toward the center of the vehicle and hold it in position after enough space is provided to disconnect the connector.

      The other person should then disconnect the connector.

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and rear door courtesy light switch assembly.
