PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Map Light Assembly)

      Inspect the personal light.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive → S26-12(+B1)

        Battery negative → S26-1(GND9)

        Map light switch LH off

        Map light switch RH off

        Room light switch off

        		 All off

        Map light switch LH on

        Map light switch RH off

        Room light switch off

        		 Map light LH illuminates

        Map light switch LH off

        Map light switch RH on

        Room light switch off

        		 Map light RH illuminates

        Map light switch LH off

        Map light switch RH off

        Room light switch on

        		 All illuminated

        Battery positive → S26-12(+B1)

        Battery negative → S26-4(DOOR)

        Map light switch LH off

        Map light switch RH off

        Room light switch off

        		 All off

        Map light switch LH on

        Map light switch RH off

        Room light switch off

        		 All off

        Map light switch LH off

        Map light switch RH on

        Room light switch off

        		 All off

        Map light switch LH off

        Map light switch RH off

        Room light switch on

        		 All illuminated

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (personal light).

    2. A01IGGPC11

      Component without harness connected

      (Map Light Assembly)

      Inspect the dome light.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive → S26-12(+B1)

        Battery negative → S26-3(+B3)

        		 Always Dome light illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (dome light).

      Component without harness connected

      (Map Light Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      S26-12(+B1) - S26-1(GND9) Map light switch RH off 10 kΩ or higher
      Map light switch RH on Below 1 Ω
      Map light switch LH off 10 kΩ or higher
      Map light switch LH on Below 1 Ω
      S26-12(+B1) - S26-3(+B3) Dome light switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      Dome light switch on Below 1 Ω
      S26-12(+B1) - S26-4(DOOR) Door switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      Door switch on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (personal light).
