DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of the door switch and front dome light switch.

Note


  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.

  • As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), first perform the inspections in On-vehicle Inspection to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) before performing this troubleshooting procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (DOME LIGHT DOOR SW, DOME LIGHT SW)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU])


    1. Disconnect the S26 map light assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G62 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      S26-4 (DOOR) - G62-27 (DMDR) Always Below 1 Ω
      S26-3 (+B3) - G62-28 (DMON) Always Below 1 Ω
      S26-1 (GND9) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      S26-4 (DOOR) or G62-27 (DMDR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      S26-3 (+B3) or G62-28 (DMON) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
