DESCRIPTION

The room light control relay controls the illumination of the interior illumination lights (roof color illumination) and spot light assemblies.

The lighting system uses CAN communication. First perform the inspections in "How to Proceed with Troubleshooting" to confirm that there are no communication malfunctions before proceeding with troubleshooting.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (PERSONAL LIGHT REAR)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the S6 spot light assembly RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the S30 room light control relay connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      S6-4 (CTY) - S30-22 (FCTY) Always Below 1 Ω
      S6-4 (CTY) or S30-22 (FCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Replace the spot light assembly RH with a new or known good one.
