DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the DOME CUT relay.

Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.

  • As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), first perform the inspections in On-vehicle Inspection to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) before performing this troubleshooting procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (RELAY FOR INTERIOR LIGHT AUTO CUT FUNCTION)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY LH - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the junction block assembly LH connector.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. INSPECT JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the junction block assembly LH.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the junction block assembly LH.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      4L-1 - 4A-27 Battery voltage not applied between terminals 4L-1 and A-23 (DOMR) 10 kΩ or higher
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
