CHECK DOOR CONTROL BATTERY OPERATION
Tech Tips
The door control battery discharges completely within approximately 50 minutes after the engine switch is turned off. Discharge time is reduced when the door control battery is not fully charged.
The door control battery is fully charged within 90 seconds after the engine switch is turned to on (IG).
Check that all of the doors are locked.
Remove the D/L fuse from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

Wait at least 90 seconds before performing the Active Test.
Tech Tips
Wait until the door control battery is fully charged.
Remove the ECU-IG NO. 1 fuse from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
Remove the ECU-B NO. 1 fuse from the engine room relay block and junction block assembly.
Tech Tips
The front passenger side door can be unlocked and opened before removing the ECU-B NO. 1 fuse.
After removing the ECU-B NO. 1 fuse, perform the Active Test "Shock Detection Unlock" within 20 minutes.
Check that all the doors unlock.
