    1. Customizing with the GTS

      Tech Tips

      The following items can be customized.

      Note


      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Connect the GTS.

      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Air Conditioner.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

    2. Customizing using the multi-display.


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle customization / Climate settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Efficient ventilation mode On In case of turning the air conditioning system on to cool the cabin down quickly, this function changes the mode automatically to recirculation air mode On or Off Air conditioning amplifier assembly

  2. CUSTOMIZE CONTROL PANEL


    1. Customize switch response time


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Press the "A/C" switch and "AUTO" switch simultaneously for 3 seconds.

      3. A number is displayed on the front passenger side of the LCD screen. Press the "REAR DEF" switch to change the setting.

        Note

        The LCD screen completely illuminates if no operation is performed for 5 seconds after customize settings are set. Do not turn the engine switch off while the screen is illuminated, as settings are being saved.

        Tech Tips

        If the engine switch is turned off while the screen is illuminated, settings are reset.

    2. Customize switch response sound


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Press the "AUTO" switch and "REAR" switch simultaneously for 3 seconds.

      3. "On" or "OFF" is displayed on the front passenger side of the LCD screen. Press the "REAR DEF" switch to change the setting.

        Note

        The LCD screen completely illuminates if no operation is performed for 5 seconds after customize settings are set. Do not turn the engine switch off while the screen is illuminated, as settings are being saved.

        Tech Tips

        If the engine switch is turned off while the screen is illuminated, settings are reset.

    3. Customize switch sensitivity level


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Press and hold the "REAR DEF" switch within 5 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG) and operate the dimmer switch as follows:


        1. w/ Light Control Switch Off Position: Press and hold the "REAR DEF" switch within 5 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG) and operate the dimmer switch as follows: OFF → TAIL → OFF → TAIL → OFF → TAIL.

        2. w/o Light Control Switch Off Position: Press and hold the "REAR DEF" switch within 5 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG) and operate the dimmer switch as follows: AUTO → TAIL → AUTO → TAIL → AUTO → TAIL.

          Tech Tips

          w/o Light Control Switch Off Position:


          • When turning the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) to the AUTO position, the tail lights and low beam headlights must be turn off.

      3. "01", "02" or "03" is displayed on the front passenger side of the LCD screen and "001" is displayed on the driver side of the LCD screen. Press the "REAR DEF" switch to change the setting.

        Note

        The LCD screen completely illuminates if no operation is performed for 5 seconds after customize settings are set. Do not turn the engine switch off while the screen is illuminated, as settings are being saved.

        Tech Tips

        If the engine switch is turned off while the screen is illuminated, settings are reset.
