FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Super Long Slide Seat) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B006L4EC01
      B006N8A Push the seatback forwards
      B006NJK Push it backwards until it reaches the first position where it locks

      Push the seatback forwards, and then push it backwards until it reaches the first position where it locks.

      Install the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the 2 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      Nut A
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }
      Nut B
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. Temporarily install the reclining sensor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the 3 nuts.

      *a Pin Punch 3 *b Reclining Sensor
      *c Nut Installation Hole - -

    4. Insert pin punch 3 into the zero point alignment hole of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

    5. Install the 3 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }

    6. Pull out pin punch 3.

      Install the seat belt guide with the 3 screws.

      *b Lock Position

      Connect each connector.

    9. Connect the front seat outer belt assembly LH connector and check that the slider is in the lock position.

      Tech Tips

      If the slider is not in the lock position, the front seat outer belt assembly connector is not completely connected. Disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly connector, check the front seat outer belt assembly connector and front seat inner belt assembly terminals and connector housings for deformation or foreign matter, and then reconnect the front seat outer belt assembly connector.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER LH

  3. INSTALL SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Install the seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK STAY PROTECTOR

  5. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    Click here

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Seat Anchor)

      Push the front seat outer belt assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the front seat outer belt assembly (for Seat Anchor) with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  13. INSTALL SEAT TRACK LOCK OPEN LEVER LH

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION LEVER

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT LEG COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  23. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
