FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Super Long Slide Seat) REMOVAL

    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:


    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH (for Seat Anchor).

    2. Pull out the front seat outer belt assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 2 screws and seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

      B006N8A Slide in this Direction

      Slide the slider to release the lock, and then disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect each connector.

      Remove the 3 screws and seat belt guide.

    4. B006RA2C01

      Remove the 3 nuts (B) and disconnect the reclining sensor.

    5. Remove the 2 nuts (A) and front seat outer belt assembly LH.
