FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER(for Driver Seat) INSTALLATION

    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Set the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

      *1 Tack Pin
      *2 Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover
      *3 Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly LH

      Using a tacker, install the front seat cushion heater assembly LH with 42 new tack pins.

      Tech Tips


      • Secure the front seat cushion heater assembly LH so that it does not bend or stretch.


      • Set the front seat cushion heater assembly LH so that the nichrome wire is on the separate type front seat cushion cover side.

  2. INSTALL SEAT COVER WIRE

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  4. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Attach the J hook and install the seat cushion cover with pad.

      Attach the clamp.

    3. Connect the connector.

      Connect the connector.

    5. Attach the clamp.

      B006PCE Fastening Tape

      Secure the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly LH with fastening tape.
