FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER(for Driver Seat) REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are installed, removed or replaced during the front seat cushion heater assembly LH removal/installation are shown below.

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
There is risk of injury.
If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.
Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

Note

After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

1. Fastening Tape
  
  Detach the fastening tape.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Detach the clamp.
4. Detach the clamp.
5. Disconnect the connector.
6. Detach the J hook and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

1. Disconnect the 42 tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.
