FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Driver Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT BACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)


    1. A01IEPUC04
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback Heater Assembly LH)

      Check the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater)


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance:
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2

        Seatback heater

        temperature 20°C (68°F)

        		 3.44 to 4.71 Ω

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover (front seatback heater).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT BACK HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback Heater Assembly RH)

      Check the separate type front seatback cover RH (front seatback heater)


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance:
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2

        Seatback heater

        temperature 20°C (68°F)

        		 3.44 to 4.71 Ω

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover (front seatback heater).
