REAR SEAT RETURN SWITCH(for LHD) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR POWER SEAT RETURN SWITCH


    1. for LH Side:


      1. A01IKYHC01
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear Power Seat Return Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        6 - 9 Return switch pressed Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat return switch.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the rear power seat return switch illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 8 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 7 (ILL-)

        		 Illumination illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat return switch.

    2. A01IFVPC01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Power Seat Return Switch)

      for RH Side:


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        8 - 11 Return switch pressed Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat return switch.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the rear power seat return switch illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 10 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 9 (ILL-)

        		 Illumination illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat return switch.
