PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

      *1 Reclining Switch
      *2 Ottoman Switch
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Power Seat Switch LH)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Reclining Switch
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      4 (B) - 5 (HUP)

      2 (HDWN) - 3 (E)

      		 FRONT Below 1 Ω

      3 (E) - 5 (HUP)

      2 (HDWN) - 3 (E)

      		 OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      2 (HDWN) - 4 (B)

      3 (E) - 5 (HUP)

      		 REAR Below 1 Ω
      Standard Resistance
      Ottoman Switch
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      4 (B) - 7 (VUP)

      3 (E) - 8 (VDWN)

      		 OPEN Below 1 Ω

      3 (E) - 7 (VUP)

      3 (E) - 8 (VDWN)

      		 OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      4 (B) - 8 (VDWN)

      3 (E) - 7 (VUP)

      		 CLOSE Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat switch LH.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the rear power seat switch LH illuminates.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (ILL-)

      		 Illumination illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat switch LH.

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH RH

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      3 (E) - 7 (HUP)

      		 REAR Below 1 Ω

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      4 (B) - 5 (VUP)

      2 (VDWN) - 3 (E)

      		 OPEN Below 1 Ω

      3 (E) - 5 (VUP)

      2 (VDWN) - 3 (E)

      		 OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      2 (VDWN) - 4 (B)

      3 (E) - 5 (VUP)

      		 CLOSE Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat switch RH.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the rear power seat switch RH illuminates.
