The procedure listed below is for the LH side. Use the same procedure for the LH and RH sides, unless otherwise specified.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE LOWER COVER RH


    1. A01UDBI

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear seat cushion hinge lower cover RH.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE LOWER COVER LH

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear seat cushion hinge lower cover LH.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE UPPER COVER LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and guide and remove the rear seat cushion hinge upper cover LH.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT NO. 3 CUSHION HINGE COVER

      Detach the claw and guide and remove the rear seat No. 3 cushion hinge cover from the rear No. 2 seat hinge sub-assembly LH.

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    CAUTION:


    • Make sure to perform the following procedure, as the force of the rear No. 2 seat hinge sub-assembly LH spring is strong.

    • Make sure that your hands and fingers, etc. do not get caught in the rear No. 2 seat hinge sub-assembly LH.

      Remove the bolt.

    2. A01UF3C

      Loosen the hinge bolt.

      Note

      Only loosen the bolt. Do not remove it.

      Set the rear No. 2 seat to the installation position on the vehicle again and temporarily install it with the 2 nuts so that the rear No. 2 seat hinge sub-assembly LH is held in place.

      Remove the 2 stopper bolts in the order shown in the illustration and disconnect the No. 2 seat reclining adjusting cable assembly LH.

    5. A01UFCP

      Flip up the rear No. 2 seat assembly LH until the spring of the rear No. 2 seat hinge sub-assembly LH loses its force, and then remove the 2 temporarily installed nuts and rear No. 2 seat assembly LH from the body.

      CAUTION:

      Perform this procedure with 2 or more people, as the rear No. 2 seat is removed from the vehicle while flipped up.

      Remove the 2 bolts and rear No. 2 seat hinge sub-assembly LH.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Detach the claw and guide and remove the No. 2 seat adjuster cover cap.

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SEAT LOCK COVER LH

      Remove the 3 screws and rear No. 3 seat lock cover LH.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE LOWER COVER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear seat cushion hinge lower cover LH.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION STOPPER

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the guide and 2 No. 2 seat cushion stoppers.

  10. REMOVE SEAT LEG COVER

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 seat reclining adjusting cable assembly LH.

    2. A01UDBP

      Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the seat leg cover.

  11. REMOVE REAR NO.2 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

  13. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

  14. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

  15. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and guide and remove the rear No. 2 seat reclining cover LH.

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the guide.

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction

      Detach the casing cap.

    4. Rotate the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  17. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT COVER CAP LH

    Note

    Do not reuse the rear No. 2 seat cover cap LH after removing it.

      Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and remove the rear No. 2 seat cover cap LH.

  18. REMOVE NO. 3 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

    Note

    Do not reuse the No.3 reclining adjuster release handle LH after removing it.

      Remove the screw and No.3 reclining adjuster release handle LH.

  19. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER LH

      Detach the hook as shown in the illustration.

      Open the fastener.

      *1 Rear Seat Cushion Lock Hook Sub-Assembly LH
      *2 Clamp

      Remove the 5 screws.

    4. Detach the claw and raise the rear seat cushion under cover LH higher than the seat.

    5. Remove the cable tie and rear seat cushion lock hook LH, and then remove the rear seat cushion under cover LH

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION LOCK RELEASE LEVER ASSEMBLY

      Detach the claw and remove the cap.

      Remove the 2 screws.

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction

      Detach the casing cap.

    4. Rotate the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the No. 2 seat cushion lock release lever assembly as shown in the illustration.

  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

      Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the rear seat cushion cover LH.

  22. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Detach the hook.

    2. Remove the 3 hog rings, hook and seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

      Pull out the rear end of the seat cushion cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    4. Lift up in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  23. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 10 hog rings.

      Remove the seat cover wire.

      Remove the 8 hog rings and No. 2 seat cushion cover sub-assembly LH from the No. 2 seat cushion pad.

  24. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  25. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST CAP (w/ Armrest)

      Using moulding remover, detach the claw and remove the No. 2 seat armrest cap.

  26. REMOVE CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Armrest)

      Remove the nut and center seat armrest assembly LH.

  27. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Open the fastener.

    2. Detach the hook.

    3. A01UFKW

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    4. for Seat RH Side:

        B006N8A Remove in this Direction

        Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the claw and remove the 2 rear No. 2 seat headrest support assemblies.

    5. for Seat LH Side:


      1. A01UFIX

        Fold up the seatback cover, and then remove the fastening rubber from the pad.

      2. Remove the 2 hog rings, and then fold up the seatback cover further.

      3. Fold up the seatback cover until the side holes are visible.

        Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the claw and remove the 3 rear No. 2 seat headrest support assemblies.

      5. Detach headrest support assembly A from the claw of parts *a and *b, and then remove headrest support assembly A in the removal direction as shown in the illustration.

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    7. Lift up in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  28. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT BACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      for Seat RH Side:


      1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

        Tech Tips

        The hog rings on the LH side were already removed when the headrest support was removed on that side.

      Remove the 4 hog rings and remove the No. 2 seatback cover sub-assembly LH from the No. 2 seatback pad.

  29. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE


    1. Remove the seat cover wire.

  30. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER

      Detach the clip and remove the rear No. 2 seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

  31. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING INNER COVER LH

      Remove the screw, detach the clip and remove the rear seat reclining inner cover LH.

  32. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER

      Detach the clip and remove the rear No. 2 seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

  33. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING INNER COVER LH

      Detach the clip.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear seat reclining inner cover LH.

  34. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK PROTECTOR

      Detach parts A shown in the illustration from the headrest support bracket, and then remove the 2 clips and rear seatback protector.

  35. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR LH

      Detach parts A shown in the illustration from the headrest support bracket, and then remove the 2 clips and rear No. 2 seat protector LH.

  36. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT GUIDE

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the lukas guide bracket.

    3. A01UFFZ

      Remove the rear seat cushion support guide.

  37. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and clamp.

    2. Loosen the 2 cable nuts.

    3. Rotate the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the rear seat cushion wire sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  38. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT GUIDE

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear seat cushion support guide.

  39. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the casing cap.

    2. Rotate the cable end and remove the No. 2 seat reclining adjusting cable assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  40. REMOVE SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 clamps.

    2. Detach the casing cap.

    3. Rotate the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the seat track control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.

  41. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Detach the casing cap.

    2. Rotate the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the reclining remote control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.

  42. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the casing cap.
