Tech Tips


  • On the SIGNAL CHECK screen, "OK" (blue) is displayed for items with a normal inspection result or input state.

  • On the SIGNAL CHECK screen, "CHK" (red) is displayed for items with an abnormal inspection result or input state.

  • Displayed items may differ depending on vehicle specifications.

  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the navigation receiver assembly after the battery cable is disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY - PARKING ASSIST ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G4 spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F9 parking assist ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F9-20 (BLSW) - G4-14 (SW+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G4-7 (SW-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F9-20 (BLSW) or G4-14 (SW+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
