PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (for ALPHARD)

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (for VELLFIRE)

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (for ALPHARD)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (for VELLFIRE)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both sides.

      Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. B006QUB

      Disengage the claws and remove the front corner ultrasonic sensor.

  6. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP

    Tech Tips


    • Perform this procedure only when replacement of the ultrasonic sensor clip is necessary.

    • Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor clips.

      Disengage the clamp to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the wire.

  7. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips


    • When removing the front corner ultrasonic sensor retainer, heat the front bumper assembly and front corner ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light.

    • Use the same procedure for the other front corner ultrasonic sensor retainer.


    1. Heat the front bumper assembly and front corner ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light.

      CAUTION:


      • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

      • Touching the heat light may result in burns.

      • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
