DESCRIPTION

The rear corner ultrasonic sensor LH is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the rear corner ultrasonic sensor LH. If the rear corner ultrasonic sensor LH has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note

If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTC Click here.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs.

  2. REPLACE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH


    1. Replace the rear corner ultrasonic sensor LH with a normally functioning sensor.
