DESCRIPTION

The NO. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the NO. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH). If the NO. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note

If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTC Click here.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs.

  2. REPLACE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (REAR CORNER SENSOR LH)


    1. Replace the NO. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) with a normally functioning sensor.
