DESCRIPTION

The NO. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH) is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the NO. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH). If the NO. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTC Click here.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs.

  2. REPLACE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (FRONT CORNER SENSOR RH)


    1. Replace the NO. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH) with a normally functioning sensor.
