DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is an open or short circuit in the communication line between the front sensors and ECU, or when there is a malfunction in a front sensor.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (C1AEC)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Clearance Sonar > Clear DTCs

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Clearance Sonar > Trouble Codes

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH)


    1. Disconnect the G59 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the C6 front corner ultrasonic sensor LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G59-4 (BOF) - C6-1 (BI) Always Below 1 Ω
      G59-8 (SOF) - C6-3 (SI) Always Below 1 Ω
      G59-6 (E5) - C6-5 (EI) Always Below 1 Ω
      G59-4 (BOF) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G59-8 (SOF) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G59-6 (E5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH - FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH)


    1. Disconnect the C6 front corner ultrasonic sensor LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the C5 front corner ultrasonic sensor RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C6-2 (BO) - C5-1 (BI) Always Below 1 Ω
      C6-4 (SO) - C5-3 (SI) Always Below 1 Ω
      C6-6 (EO) - C5-5 (EI) Always Below 1 Ω
