DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is an open or short circuit in the communication line between the rear sensors and ECU, or when there is a malfunction in a rear sensor.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (C1AED)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (REAR CORNER SENSOR LH))


    1. Disconnect the G59 clearance warning ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the T2 NO. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G59-22 (BOR) - T2-1 (BI) Always Below 1 Ω
      G59-24 (SOR) - T2-3 (SI) Always Below 1 Ω
      G59-23 (E1) - T2-5 (EI) Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Disconnect the T2 NO. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) connector.

    2. Disconnect the T4 NO. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor LH) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
