PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO (VIDEO ADAPTER) TERMINAL - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the L31 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

    2. Disconnect the S35 television display assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L31-1 (VAR+) - S35-14 (R+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L31-2 (VAL+) - S35-16 (L+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L31-3 (VA-) - S35-15 (SGN3) Always Below 1 Ω
      L31-7 (SG) - S35-29 (SGN6) Always Below 1 Ω
      L31-1 (VAR+) or S35-14 (R+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L31-2 (VAL+) or S35-16 (L+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L31-3 (VA-) or S35-15 (SGN3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L31-7 (SG) or S35-29 (SGN6) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
