  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the F37 and F38 radio and display receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Disconnect the H2 and H4 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    3. Disconnect the d1 and d2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    4. Measure the resistance between the radio and display receiver assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT AND REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the I1 and I17 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

    2. Disconnect the H2 and H4 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    3. Disconnect the J10 and J23 rear No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

    4. Disconnect the d1 and d2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    5. Measure the resistance between each of the speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    1. Replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or known good one.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      • Connect all the connectors to the front No. 2 speaker assemblies that were disconnected.

      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left front No. 2 speaker assembly is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

      • Perform the above inspection on both the LH and RH side.

    5. Measure the resistance between the radio and display receiver assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    1. Disconnect the M1 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the H2 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance between the telematics transceiver and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    5. Measure the resistance between each of the speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
