GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      52 N*m  { 530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:

      7.7 N*m  { 79 kgf*cm, 68 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the generator assembly connector.

   4. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   5. Install the terminal cap.

2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

3. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for ALPHARD)

4. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for VELLFIRE)

   Click here

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
