REAR STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSHING


    1. B006P43C02
      *a Stopper

      Install the 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the outside of the stoppers on the rear stabilizer bar.

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BRACKET


    1. B006QWC

      Install the 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets to the 2 rear stabilizer bushings.

  3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR

      *a Identification Mark
      B006LKF Front of the Vehicle

      Install the rear stabilizer bar, 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets and 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      70 N*m  { 714 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Ensure that the identification mark faces the right side of the vehicle.

  4. INSTALL STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    1. B006PNW

      Secure the rear lower stabilizer bracket in a vise using aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

    2. Install the stabilizer link sub-assembly to the rear lower stabilizer bracket with the nut.

      Torque:
      92 N*m  { 938 kgf*cm, 68 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

    3. Install the stabilizer link sub-assembly to the rear stabilizer bar with the nut.

      Torque:
      98 N*m  { 999 kgf*cm, 72 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  5. INSTALL STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
