PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01IIOB

      Check that there is no excessive play in the radial direction of the outboard joint.

    2. Check that the inboard joint slides smoothly in the thrust direction.

    3. Check that there is no excessive play in the radial direction of the inboard joint.

    4. Check the boots for damage.

      Check whether the dimension (A) of each drive shaft is within specification.

      Note

      Keep the drive shaft assembly level during inspection.

      for 2AR-FE LH Side 595.2 mm (1.95 ft.)
      RH Side 911.15 mm (2.99 ft.)
      for 2GR-FE LH Side 580.5 mm (1.90 ft.)
      RH Side 924.9 mm (3.03 ft.)
