TCM INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TCM


    1. Temporarily install the TCM to the transaxle case sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. B006N0HN01

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      11.3 N*m  { 115 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }
    3. B006L65C01
      *a Lock Lever

      Connect the TCM connector to the TCM and turn the lock lever to secure the connector.

      Note

      Be sure to securely connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER SUPPORT

  5. INSTALL CENTER NO. 1 COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  7. CHECK AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SYSTEM

    Note

    If automatic transaxle assembly parts have been replaced, refer to Parts Replacement Compensation Table to determine if any additional operations are necessary.
