The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the TCM removal/installation are shown below.

Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
If automatic transaxle assembly parts are replaced, refer to Parts Replacement Compensation Table to determine if any additional operations are necessary.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
SEPARATE CENTER NO. 1 COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER
REMOVE BATTERY
REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER
REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER SUPPORT
REMOVE TCM

Turn the lock lever and disconnect the TCM connector from the TCM.
Remove the 2 bolts and TCM from the transaxle case sub-assembly.
