ENGINE STOP AND START ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START ECU


    1. for LHD:


      1. Install the engine stop and start ECU with the bolt and nut.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the 3 engine stop and start ECU connectors.

      3. Connect each connector.

    2. for RHD:


      1. Install the engine stop and start ECU with the bolt and nut.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the blower with fan motor sub-assembly connector and engage the 2 clamps.

      3. Connect the 3 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

      4. Connect the 3 engine stop and start ECU connectors.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START SOLENOID FILTER (for LHD)

  3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY


  4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
