| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| C1442 | Invalid Data Received from Deceleration Sensor |
| C1443 | Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor |
DESCRIPTION
The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via the CAN communication system.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C1442 | Invalid Data Received from Acceleration Sensor | When voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, sensor invalid information received from acceleration sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more. | Acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) | - |
| C1443 | Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor | When voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, sensor invalid information received from yaw rate sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more. | Yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly) | - |
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information.
PROCEDURE
CHECK DTC
Clear the DTCs.
Turn the engine switch off.
Start the engine and idle it for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.
Check if the same DTC is recorded.
