PCV VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PCV VALVE (VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. B006LBBC09
      *a Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

      Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly).

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

    2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

      Torque:
      27 N*m  { 275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

    3. Connect the ventilation hose to the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) and slide the clip to secure it.
