The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the heated oxygen sensor removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE
REMOVE CENTER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (for Separate Console Box Type)
REMOVE CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (for Separate Console Box Type)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY (for Separate Console Box Type)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Separate Console Box Type)
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Integrated Console Box Type)
DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR (for Bank 1)
Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)
CAUTION:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
Disengage the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.
Disengage the wire harness clamp.
Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
Note
If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET (for Lower Side)
REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)
Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
