KICK SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  2. REMOVE KICK DOOR CONTROL BRACKET

      Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

      Note

      Do not touch the terminal of the kick door control sensor connector.

      Remove the screw.

    3. Remove the 3 outside moulding retainers.

    4. Detach the 3 guides and remove the kick door control bracket together with the kick door control sensor as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR


    1. Detach the 16 claws in the order shown in the illustration and disconnect the antenna.

      *a Wire (red)

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the wire (red) from the kick door control bracket.

      Note


      • Do not pull strongly on the wire.

      • Do not twist the wire.

    3. B005AXC

      Detach the 2 claws and guide, and remove the kick door control sensor from the kick door control bracket as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Do not subject the kick door control sensor to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.

      • Do not reuse a kick door control sensor which has been subjected to an impact or dropped.
