  • The power back door system troubleshooting procedure is based on the premise that the entry and start system (for Entry Function) is operating normally. Check the power back door system first before troubleshooting the power back door system.

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard voltage
      11 to 14 V

      Tech Tips


      • A simple method to determine whether the battery is discharged is to operate the horn.

      • If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

    2. Check the fuses and relays.

    3. Check the connector connections and terminals to make sure that there are no abnormalities such as loose connections, deformation, etc.

  3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
