SLIDING ROOF HOUSING DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HI8X

      Remove the 2 bolts and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF DRAIN HOSE JOINT RH


    1. A01HGJZ

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the slide roof drain hose joint RH.

  3. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF DRAIN HOSE JOINT LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR ROOF DRIP CHANNEL


    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and 4 guides and remove the rear roof drip channel.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HFAV

      Remove the sunshade trim stopper.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both sunshade trim stoppers.

    2. A01HHIR

      Slide and remove the sunshade trim sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE ROOF WIND DEFLECTOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HEUB

      Hold down the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.

    2. A01HJWNC01
      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, tilt up the sliding roof drive cable.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • When the cable is not tilted up, it is not possible to slide the sliding roof drive cable.

      • Perform the same tilt up procedure for the LH side.

    3. A01HGKZC01
      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof drive cable until it comes off the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Perform the same sliding procedure for the LH side.

    4. Pull the spring as shown in the illustration to detach the 2 springs.

    5. Pull the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to detach the 2 guides and remove it.
