COOLER EXPANSION VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM


    1. for HFC-134a(R134a):

    2. for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf):

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 8AR-FTS)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER (for 3ZR-FAE)

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT AIRCONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY (for Sub-cool Accelerator)

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sub-cool Accelerator)

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sub-cool Accelerator)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    1. A01XP6V

      Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts.

    2. A01XN2VC01
      *a 6 mm Bolt

      Temporarily install the 6 mm bolt halfway to the cooler expansion valve.

    3. A01XPBJ

      Hold the bolt and pull it to remove the cooler expansion valve as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01XOPF

      Remove the 2 O-rings.
