PROCEDURE
RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
for HFC-134a(R134a):
for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf):
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
for Sport Package:
except Sport Package:
REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:
Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 2 clamps.
Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support sub-assembly.
w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support sub-assembly.
REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT
Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 radiator support sub-assemblies.
Remove the 4 bolts.
Detach each clamps and remove the radiator support assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the fan shroud and No. 2 fan shroud.
REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD
Remove the 2 bolts.
Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 fan shroud.
DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
Note
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
Note
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE FRONT AIR GUIDE PLATE LH
Detach the 3 claws and remove the radiator side front air guide plate LH.
REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE FRONT AIR GUIDE PLATE RH
Detach the 3 claws and remove the radiator side front air guide plate RH.
REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
Detach the 2 claws and 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly.
Note
Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
