CONDENSER(for 8AR-FTS) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM


    1. for HFC-134a(R134a):

    2. for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf):

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. for Sport Package:

  3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:


      1. Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 2 clamps.

      2. Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support sub-assembly.

    2. w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT

      Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 radiator support sub-assemblies.

    2. B0058WC

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Detach each clamps and remove the radiator support assembly.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the fan shroud and No. 2 fan shroud.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD


    1. B005AFM

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 fan shroud.

  8. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B00589B

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  9. DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B005AKH

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid pipe sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid pipe sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  10. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE FRONT AIR GUIDE PLATE LH

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the radiator side front air guide plate LH.

  11. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE FRONT AIR GUIDE PLATE RH

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the radiator side front air guide plate RH.

  12. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 2 claws and 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
