PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the battery negative (-) terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      *1 Locking Button
      *2 Protective Tape

      w/ Pretensioner:


      1. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

        *1 Nut
        *2 Bolt

        Remove the bolt and nut in the order shown in the illustration.

      3. Detach the 3 guides and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.

    2. w/o Pretensioner:


      1. B005ALAC01
        *1 Nut
        *2 Bolt

        Remove the bolt and nut in the order shown in the illustration.

      2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.

  29. REMOVE OUTER BELT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      w/ Pretensioner:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the 2 bolts.

      2. Detach the guide and remove the outer belt anchor bracket sub-assembly LH.

      w/o Pretensioner:


      1. Remove the 2 bolts.

      2. Detach the guide and remove the outer belt anchor bracket sub-assembly LH.
