FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      

      *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
      *3	Connector C	-	-
      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH)	-	-

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 (RDC) - A-2 (E) Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher Front passenger seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω B-1 - C-3 B-2 - C-4 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly LH.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for RHD)

   
   

   1. w/o Occupant Classification System:

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)	-	-

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 (RDC) - A-2 (E) Front passenger seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω A-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

   2. w/ Occupant Classification System:

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)	-	-

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 (RDC) - A-2 (E) Front passenger seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω A-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for LHD)

   
   

   1. w/o Occupant Classification System:

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)	-	-

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 (RDC) - A-2 (E) Front passenger seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω A-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

   2. w/ Occupant Classification System:

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)	-	-

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 (RDC) - A-2 (E) Front passenger seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω A-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      

      *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
      *3	Connector C	-	-
      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)	-	-

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 (RDC) - A-2 (E) Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher Front passenger seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω B-1 - C-3 B-2 - C-4 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly RH.
