FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH (for L-Sport)

   

   *1	Connector A
   *2	Connector B
   *a	Component without harness connected (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover LH (Front Seat Cushion Heater))

   
   

   1. Check the separate type front seat cushion cover LH (front seat cushion heater).

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 - A-4 Seat cushion heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.91 to 3.56 Ω B-1 - B-2 A-2 - A-3 5.05 to 7.45 kΩ

         If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion cover LH (front seat cushion heater).

2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH (for L-Sport)

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Connector A
      *2	Connector B
      *a	Component without harness connected (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover RH (Front Seat Cushion Heater))

      Check the separate type front seat cushion cover RH (front seat cushion heater).

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A-1 - A-4 Seat cushion heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.91 to 3.56 Ω B-1 - B-2 A-2 - A-3 5.05 to 7.45 kΩ

         If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion cover RH (front seat cushion heater).

3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD LH (for F-Sport)

   
   

   1. Check the front seat cushion with cover pad LH (front seat cushion heater).

      
      

      1. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *3	Connector C	-	-
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion with Cover Pad LH (Front Seat Cushion Heater))	-	-

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A1 - B3 Seat cushion heater temperature 23°C (73°F) Below 1 Ω A3 - B5 B1 - C4 (B1) B2 - C1 (SW) B5 - C6 (E) A2 - B5 2.46 to 3.62 Ω A2 - C6 (E) A2 - A3 C2 (P) - C5 (TH) Seat cushion heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 7.2 to 8.8 kΩ

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion with cover pad LH (front seat cushion heater).

      2. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *3	Connector C	-	-
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion with Cover Pad LH (Front Seat Cushion Heater))	-	-

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A1 - B3 Seat cushion heater temperature 23°C (73°F) Below 1 Ω A3 - B5 B1 - C4 (B1) B2 - C1 (SW) B5 - C6 (E) A2 - B5 2.58 to 3.15 Ω A2 - C6 (E) A2 - A3 C2 (P) - C5 (TH) Seat cushion heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 7.2 to 8.8 kΩ

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion with cover pad LH (front seat cushion heater).

4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD RH (for F-Sport)

   
   

   1. Check the front seat cushion with cover pad RH (front seat cushion heater).

      
      

      1. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *1	Connector A	*2	Connector B
         *3	Connector C	-	-
         *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion with Cover Pad RH (Front Seat Cushion Heater))	-	-

         Standard Resistance

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion with cover pad RH (front seat cushion heater).
