PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH

    *1 Hold Switch
    *2 Release Switch
    *a

    Component without harness connected

    (Front Lumbar Power Seat Switch)

    1. for LHD:


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        3 (H) - 5 (B) Hold switch on Below 1 Ω
        1 (R) - 2 (E)
        2 (E) - 3 (H) Neutral Below 1 Ω
        1 (R) - 2 (E)
        2 (E) - 3 (H) Release switch on Below 1 Ω
        1 (R) - 5 (B)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front lumbar power seat switch.

      *2 Release Switch

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Lumbar Power Seat Switch)

      for RHD:


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 (H) - 5 (B) Hold switch on Below 1 Ω
        3 (R) - 2 (E)
        2 (E) - 3 (R) Neutral Below 1 Ω
        1 (H) - 2 (E)
        1 (H) - 2 (E) Release switch on Below 1 Ω
        3 (R) - 5 (B)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front lumbar power seat switch.
