POWER SEAT SWITCH(for Rear Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 FOLD SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)


    1. A01HHX7C02
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (No. 1 Fold Seat Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 (HRSR) - 7 (E) RETURN RH switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      6 (HFSR) - 7 (E) FOLD RH switch pressed

      1 (HRSR) - 7 (E)

      3 (HRSL) - 7 (E)

      6 (HFSR) - 7 (E)

      8 (HFSL) - 7 (E)

      OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (HRSL) - 7 (E) RETURN LH switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      8 (HFSL) - 7 (E) FOLD LH switch pressed

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 fold seat switch assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the No. 1 fold seat switch assembly illuminates.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (+B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (ILL-)

      Illumination illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 fold seat switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Rear Seat)


    1. for LH Side:


      1. A01HI31C04
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear Power Seat Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (FLDL) - 7 (E) FOLD switch pressed Below 1 Ω

        2 (FLDL) - 7 (E)

        3 (RTNL) - 7 (E)

        OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        3 (RTNL) - 7 (E) RETURN switch pressed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat switch.

    2. for RH Side:


      1. A01HI31C05
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear Power Seat Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (RTNR) - 7 (E) RETURN switch pressed Below 1 Ω

        2 (RTNR) - 7 (E)

        3 (FLDR) - 7 (E)

        OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        3 (FLDR) - 7 (E) FOLD switch pressed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power seat switch.

  3. INSPECT NO. 2 FOLD SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)


    1. A01HHX7C01

      Component without harness connected

      (No. 2 Fold Seat Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 (RTRN) - 7 (E) RETURN RH switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      6 (FOLD) - 7 (E) FOLD RH switch pressed

      1 (RTRN) - 7 (E)

      3 (RTRN) - 7 (E)

      6 (FOLD) - 7 (E)

      8 (FOLD) - 7 (E)

      OFF Below 1 Ω
      3 (RTRN) - 7 (E) RETURN LH switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      8 (FOLD) - 7 (E) FOLD LH switch pressed

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 fold seat switch assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the No. 2 fold seat switch assembly illuminates.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (+B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (ILL-)

      Illumination illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 fold seat switch assembly.
