SEAT MEMORY SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Seat Memory Switch)

      for LHD:

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1(MRY) - 5(E) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω SET switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 2(M1) - 5(E) 1 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 1 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 3(M2) - 5(E) 2 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 2 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 4(M3) - 5(E) 3 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 3 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Seat Memory Switch)

      for RHD:

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1(MRY) - 5(E) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω SET switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 2(M1) - 5(E) 1 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 1 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 3(M2) - 5(E) 2 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 2 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 4(M3) - 5(E) 3 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 3 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.
