  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  3. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      *a Claw A
      *b Claw B

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw A.

    3. Detach the clip, 2 claws B and guide, and then remove the front lower seat cushion shield.

  5. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH

      Using moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws to remove the power seat switch knob LH.

  6. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH

      Using moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws to remove the power seat switch knob LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Detach the 2 hooks to disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

    2. A01HGB9

      Using moulding remover A, detach the claw.

    3. A01HGDT

      Detach the clip and 4 guides to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

      for Driver Side, w/o Memory:


      1. Detach the 3 claws to open the wire harness cover.

      2. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

      3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      for Driver Side, w/ Memory:


      1. Detach the 3 claws to open the wire harness cover.

      2. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

      3. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

      for Driver Side, w/o Lumbar Support:


      1. Detach the 3 claws to open the wire harness cover.

      2. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

      3. Disconnect the connector.

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Detach the 3 claws to open the wire harness cover.

      2. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

      3. Disconnect the connector.

  8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

      Using moulding remover A, detach the claw.

      Detach the claw and 3 guides to remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH (for L-Sport)

      Detach the fastening tape to disconnect the front seat side airbag wire harness.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01HGUQ

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the clamp to disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

      3. A01HHUP

        Disconnect the connector.

      4. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    3. A01HGAA

      for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:


      1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.

    4. A01HJC7

      Detach the 3 hooks.

    5. A01HHH5

      Detach the 10 hooks.

      *1 Protective Tape

      for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:


      1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    7. Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad LH.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD LH (for F-Sport)

      Detach the fastening tape to disconnect the front seat side airbag wire harness.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Detach the clamp to disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

      *1 Connector Clamp
      *2 Wire Harness Clamp
      *3 Connector Lock

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. Detach the clamp to disconnect the connector.

    6. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    7. Remove the connector lock.

    8. Disconnect the seat heater control connector.

      for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:


      1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.

    10. A01HEGM

      Detach the 2 hooks.

      Detach the 10 hooks.

      for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:


      1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    13. Remove the front seat cushion with cover pad LH.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH (for L-Sport)

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01HHZQ

      Remove the 14 hog rings.

    3. A01HJ5X

      Slide the seat cover wire.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both seat cover wires.

      Remove the 4 hog rings to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover LH from the separate type front seat cushion pad LH.

  14. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE (for L-Sport)

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. Detach the 2 pieces of fastening tape and pull out the 2 fasteners.

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. A01HI5S

      Detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for L-Sport)


    1. A01HJRD

      Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the 3 seatback cover brackets.

    2. A01HETF

      w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Detach the 2 claws to disconnect the duct of the seatback climate control blower.

    3. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD LH (for F-Sport)

      Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the 2 seatback cover brackets.

    2. A01HETF

      w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Detach the 2 claws to disconnect the duct of the seatback climate control blower.

    3. Remove the front seatback with cover pad LH.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH (for L-Sport)


    1. A01HDRQ

      Pass the 3 seatback cover brackets through the 3 holes of the separate type front seatback pad.

    2. A01HEZM

      Remove the 14 hog rings to remove the separate type front seatback cover LH from the separate type front seatback pad.

  19. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE (for L-Sport)


    1. Remove the seat cover wire.

  20. REMOVE SEATBACK FELT

      Remove the seatback felt from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

        w/ Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

        2. Detach the 8 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

        w/o Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

        2. Detach the 4 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

      3. A01HEBS

        w/o Lumbar Support:


        1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

        2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

    2. for RHD, Front Passenger Side:

        w/ Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

        2. Detach the 7 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

      2. A01HEBS

        w/o Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

        2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

  23. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE RH


    1. for LHD, Front Passenger Side:

        w/ Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

        2. Detach the 7 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire RH.

      2. A01HIGL

        w/o Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

        2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire RH.

    2. for RHD, Driver Side:

        w/ Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

        2. Detach the 8 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire RH.

        w/o Climate Control Seat System:


        1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

        2. Detach the 4 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire RH.

        w/o Lumbar Support:


        1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

        2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire RH.

  24. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. A01HH67

      Detach the 4 hooks to remove the seatback climate control blower LH.

  25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01HIR5

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK

      Detach the 2 claws.

    2. A01HH4S

      Remove the 2 front No. 1 seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Detach the 2 claws and 4 guides to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

  28. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Lumbar Support)

      Detach the 2 hooks to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH from the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the clip A.

    2. Detach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    3. Detach the clip B to remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  32. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    3. Detach the clip to remove the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

      Detach the 2 claws to remove the seat cushion climate control duct LH from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly LH.

  36. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 "TORX" screws and seat cushion climate control bracket LH.

  37. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01HHHD

      Detach the 2 hooks to remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly LH.

  40. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the seat heater control sub-assembly LH.

      1. Detach the clamp to remove the seat heater control sub-assembly LH.

  41. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side, w/ Occupant Classification System)
