FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH (for L-Sport)

   

   *a	Component without harness connected (Separate Type Front Seatback Cover LH (Front Seatback Heater))

   
   

   1. Check the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater).

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Seatback heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 4.68 to 5.71 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater).

2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH (for L-Sport)

   

   *a	Component without harness connected (Separate Type Front Seatback Cover RH (Front Seatback Heater))

   
   

   1. Check the separate type front seatback cover RH (front seatback heater).

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Seatback heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 4.68 to 5.71 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover RH (front seatback heater).

3. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD LH (for F-Sport)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seatback With Cover Pad LH (Front Seatback Heater))

      Check the front seatback with cover pad LH (front seatback heater).

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Seatback heater temperature 23°C (73°F) Below 1 Ω 2 - 3 5.86 to 7.18 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback with cover pad LH (front seatback heater).

4. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD RH (for F-Sport)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seatback With Cover Pad RH (Front Seatback Heater))

      Check the front seatback with cover pad RH (front seatback heater).

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Seatback heater temperature 23°C (73°F) Below 1 Ω 2 - 3 5.86 to 7.18 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback with cover pad RH (front seatback heater).
