DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the navigation antenna assembly (telephone antenna) circuit.

B15CB Telematics Transceiver Antenna Disconnected An open circuit in the navigation antenna assembly between the telephone transceiver assembly and telephone antenna, or at the points where it connects to the telephone transceiver assembly and navigation antenna assembly is detected.

  • When replacing the telephone transceiver assembly or navigation antenna assembly, refer to Service Bulletin.

  • When the telephone transceiver assembly is replaced, it is necessary to set the contract mode.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the telephone transceiver assembly and navigation antenna assembly (telephone antenna) connector.

      Connectors are properly connected.

    CONNECT CONNECTORS CORRECTLY

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

  4. CHECK CONNECTOR CONDITION


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Disconnect the I178 telephone transceiver assembly (telephone antenna) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY - NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the I178 telephone transceiver assembly (telephone antenna) connector.

    2. Disconnect the I177 navigation antenna assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I178-1 (TEL) - I177-4 (TEL) Always Below 1 Ω
      I178-1 (TEL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I177-4 (TEL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
