GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      7.7 N*m  { 79 kgf*cm, 68 in.*lbf }
    2. B00581CN01

      Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      for bolt A
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt B
      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the generator connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Connect the wire harness to the terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    5. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
