GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the 2 wire harness brackets with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

   3. Connect the generator conector to the generator assembly.

   4. Install the wire harness to the terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   5. Install the terminal cap.

   6. Connect the crankshaft position sensor connector and attach the 2 clamps.

2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

4. INSPECT REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
